Without being too cold, he is dead but the family wants some closure and that's hard to do without a body..
Realize that this happened Sunday afternoon and the USCG didn't call off the *resue* efforts ( meaning there is hope is is still alive ) until yesterday at 6:00.. That's a big open wound for a family member...
