The latest from Scum Diver Magazine, June, page 30, by Karl Shreeves:
"...decompression risk is higher for a trimix decompression dive to 290 feet than for an air no-stop dive to 60. Physiologists understand decompression with air in the no-stop limits far better than they understand trimix decompression."
From his account of an air dive to "just shy of 300 feet". Mr. Shreeves is Vice-president of Technical Development for Diving Science & Technology...and PADI.
I get the impression from his article in a magazine targeted to newbie divers that deep air diving is okay. Anyone else?
