I think you and your team deserve honorable praise for following the victim's family's request for a search. I'm saying this, knowing, that your search was risky in itself as would any dive be to such dimensions, well planned or not.
That being said, acknowledging the falily's desire for closure and after reading about all the uncertainties, did it really make sense to do that search? I mean, it sounds like trying to find the proverbial needle in a hay stack. At what cost?
