Not to get caught up in convoluted semantics, but the accepted definition of "bent" is DCS damage. Bent to most of us means getting hurt, and hurt bad. Thanks for the clarification. I was so disturbed by your statement I e-mailed George Irvine to jump in here and explain the red cell rigidity vis-a-vis nitrogen issue which, I believe, relates directly to DCS, ascent rates, and safety stops. Hope you don't mind.
