Two of the main characters of the hit Soap, As The BBS Turns have signed a contract to fight a duel (later on this season).
The McKane/Huntfield feud will be brought to a climax in a season ending episode (where they will fight an underwater duel).
Some of the details of the duel are unclear. Although the contestants have agreed on using Riffe Islander guns at 29 kicks (using XLg.Jet Fins). It is said that Mr. McKane wants the duel fought at 200 ft. on Trimix,(this reporter thinks that Mr. McKane hopes that Mr. Huntfield will dive on air and will forget his gun and only being a sea snipes).
The location of the duel is said to be front side of Catalina at Ship Rock.
In related news :
It was said the AADiver, Ken Kurtis, Weird Al and many others answered the casting call for the Huntfield part (in the duel). The producer was heard to say : “There were allot of cast members wanting to take a shot at Mr. McKane”.
Jim Hoffmann of Scuba Toys will lift his ban on selling Spearguns for this one event:“saying that no marine life will be harmed and that this duel may benefit all mankind.”
