Ever Dive with Ron? "....Ron Fuller who came to embody San Diego diving" Hell of a nice guy, sorely missed and did a lot for San Diego diving on the Internet but...no. Not of the caliber of the other divers mentioned as far as experience and expertise are concerned. Not even close. I got to watch Ron on one of his re-breather test dives on the Lois Ann when we were at the Coronados, the DM and captain were scared to death. After watching for a few minutes, so were we.
Thoroughly enjoyed talking to him on the way back to SD and wish I could again, but if there was ever someone who should never have been diving alone it was Ron.
