I'm hoping that twin AL80's are sufficient for the class. I'm trying to get trained for most of my California diving and for now that means wet with AL80's. I've heard that wet with AL80's is o.k. per GUE standards. Nevertheless, it is buck intensive . . . no pain . . no gain. (That's what I'm telling myself.) I figure I'll rent the 95's if they require them. But, I want to undergo training using the same equipment I'll be diving with regularly. Caveat: I'm not yet GUE trained.
