I still say CA diving was the finest in the world. You sorta sound like you're sayng near '73. It was pretty incredible then, especially if you went to Rosa or another outer island.
Sorry, but your philosophy is still basically about saying No. I interpret what you wrote to mean that you see nothing of signifigance that is new in the 20th century and probably for a while before that.
