A vital piece of info... I'll go and hope other divers attend at least one meeting if not more. The Bush administration seems hell bent on profit over protection as far as the environment is concerned and we should make our voices heard to help insure that the self serving commercial fishing interests don't get to call the shots on ocean management. Every environmentalist on the planet says the oceans are in deep trouble but if the fisherguys and their lobbyists stand up in those meetings and serve up their usual drivel about fish stocks being healthy and that they have no detrimental impact on the sea that's all the decision makers are likely to hear. Show up.
