Good shore diving in La Jolla: La Jolla Submarine Canyon off of La Jolla Shores beach (if you're lucky, you may also see hundreds of leopard sharks just past the breakers; they've been coming here during the summer for the past few years). And of course, there's the old standby, La Jolla Cove.
