A lot of users of this BBS are unhappy with PADI
because they believe that PADI has been lowering
training standards to gain market share, so expect
to see a few anti-PADI responses here.
I believe that NAUI is a little better, however
the instructor's (and Divemaster's) level of
experience and ability to teach is more important.
I would check out the local dive shops in your area.
Tell us where you live and I'm sure someone on this bbs
will recommend a good instructor.
