While I had fun picking on Terry, he did a very good, and dangerous job this weekend. We were stuck on the wreck, and most of the divers told me about he gill net there also. We tried to get the anchor loose, but could not. Terry went in and got he anchor free. At one time we did loose track of his air. I and the rest of the crew were very concerned.
We did not know the extent of the gill net untill Brett pulled the anchor up. Even though Terry cut it loose, it still had a lot of monofilament line on it.
If anyone is going to dive the Olympic in the near furture, please watch out for the net. It is hard to see, and harder to get out of.It is a full size gill net, that goes around the bow and down the sides of the wreck and up.
