The other thing to consider is that DEMA is more geared towards shops, not consumers. The Scuba show is more based towards consumers, so it could quit possibly be that at DEMA the booth was busy dealing with shop owners who will likely be ordering gear year round as opposed to someone just shopping for a quick deal on a BP and wings.
Most manufacturers spend a fortune to get to DEMA and they need to get a return on the investment. But knowing the guys at Halcyon as I do I'm surprised anyone felt brushed off because that isn't there style..
