Balance BC

I'm new to the board, so please forgive me if I violate any protocols or anything like that.

I'm considering purchasing the SeaQuest Balance BC and woud like to know if any of you have any experience with it. I'm fairly new to diving and will mainly be "sight seeing" around the local SoCal spots and probably a little travel to warmer locales. Please advise.
