Hi Eric,

Last Sunday at San Clemente we encountered a fairly good size 7' shark in the kelp forest and I have looked up descriptions of different species trying to pinpoint which type. We were very shallow 21' traveling through the kelp looking for Black Sea Bass when my buddy gave me the shark sign. Sure enough there it was 20' away, it spotted us and bolted returning for a second look in about 30 seconds and bolted again for good. It was a fast swimmer, my buddy says Soupfin but it seemed to large for that type. Have Bronze Whaler sharks ever been seen it that area?

Steve
