I have worn gear from all the manufacturers you
listed. Some of it was provided to me free of
charge just to get my opinion of the product.
Other pieces were borrowed from other private
divers to try out.

For my money and applications, which runs the
gammut from single tank AL80, steel 95 and 112
singles to twin AL80s, twin 104 steels and twin
112 steels, warm and very cold diving dry and wet,
beach or boat, OW or OE, deep or shallow - I
prefer the Halcyon products.

I must point out that I like the line so much , I
promote the gear at trade shows and offer it as
DIR demo gear with no compensation in either gear
trade or dollars. I believe that much in the
product. With the exception of maybe the backplate
selection of which is pretty much the same among
OMS and Halcyon, Halcyon's wings and associated
support gear like spools, reels and lights are
the best.

The Highland Mills bands ARE the best bands PERIOD.
There is no equal! I have many dozens of friends
in Florida and the PNW that will easily agree with
that statement.

Enough already, continue collecting your input and
make your own decision.

-Good luck, and see you at 300'.
