the only spot on the PV peninsula where there seems to be a goodly amount of surfgrass is around Cabrillo Beach, or Whites Point. We sure didn't see any at Christmas Tree, Pt Vicente, Old Marineland or Inspiration Point, but then again, there's more to PV than those 4 spots.
I saw a nice big ab near Empire Landing, Catalina a month ago...It was around 8 inches..very heartening to see one!
