A group of about 5 TDI tek divers from Sacto introduced themselves to me one day, then based on my D.A.N. card showing in my plastic necklace case, they asked me to give them a dive site orientation. They said they were from out of town, and their tek diving class came here with the assignment to dive this beach.
Monastery seems to be popular with several tek diving groups. Advantage: no seasickness as with a boat dive to a deep site. Disadvantage: additional CO2 loading from walking with all your gear along the beach.
