well for one thing they keep the paint on, then they make far less noise when setting dow at ny truck or pool AND the stand upright when you let go of them and since there is NO harm...WHY NOT?! whats the point of steel tanks 3x the price they rust til through (alucorrosion stops) and they are non ditchable weight in AND out of the water never understood that stuff there
