I suspect the PADI revenue is a multiple of the figure that I quoted.. I specifically mentioned that those numbers didn't include many added ancilliary revenue sources, such as encylopedia's, bubble makers, cd-roms etc. etc. etc.. I have no idea how much they make and since they are privately held I suspecy we'll never know, just as I suspect that we'll never know the expense side of the ledger..
My point is that they have a giant organization, they have ( I'm sure ) a significant infastrucrure that needs to be paid for, and they pat for it by selling c-cards, and as such, my feeling is that the integrity of the training may be jeopardized in order to cover such huge overhead...
