As you know, I'm still not sold on the whole 02 is narcotic thing.. Since we keep our P02's at 1.4 I'm not to worried about it but I remember when this came up at the DIR demo we did in San Diego..
It seems to me that when Haldane used the 2:1 ratio in 1904 and it wasn't until Workman in 1958 reduced the ratio to 1:58:1 did anyone take into consideration that the 02 content did not add any meaningful tissue loading issues..
It just seems to me with respect to the lipid solubility issues I'm not to concerned with the 02 content at depth. Obviously, toxing is more of a problem than any potential lipid solubility issues..
Just my thoughts...
