This most recent encounter is only the latest in a number of aggressive encounters with Whites. The most aggressive have been on the backside of the island in the past three or four years. The shark that most of us have seen on the front side has not made any serious aggressive moves that I know of. I agree that it is only a matter of time. I would be curious to know what, if any, action F & G intends to take to protect the diving public given the seriousness of this particular incident. If they refuse to take any action, the next question is how much responsibility they are prepared to accept if a serious injury occurs.
