One of the things I have noticed is that there is a bit of insurance with buying it from a local dealer. When you mail order, you have a greater chance of the package being stolen or lost. Ordering from a local dealer eliminates that.
Also, a local dealer can give you package prices. I know that Scuba Toys does that with back plate/wing/weight systems.
