I've also heard about soda's diuretic effect. Anyhow, as long as a coffee or soda drinker knows that she's only getting half or less, that's all what counts. Let em get rid of it into their wetsuits. Might be a reason for a drysuit diver to drink more water instead ;-)
Congratulations to finishing your AIDS Ride. I staffed on some of the Rides and can appreciate what you went through. I also know what you enjoyed. Good for you!
