There's a reference to a study in Bennett on caisson workers exhibiting impairment at an equivalent depth of about 33 ft though most of the studies cited there set 100 ft as the depth at which divers noticed impairment. The problem is that many of the narcosis studies were ad hoc to decompression table studies so testing uniformity and rigor was lacking.
