I don't like the 165fsw on 27%O2 and even solo diving,(much less with students) bolting to the surface from 110fsw is not considered good anywhere I have been. Also I don't think it is good to abandon students ANYWHERE.
It really sounds like he is trying to collect some insurance money or make an example of you for one of the East Coast bosses.
