diving to 150 fsw on air is feasible BUT you only have about 2 to 3 mins NDL time at that depth, after which you need to go into deco.

deco on air is very inefficient, and you are much better off deco-ing with nitrox of some kind, like EAN40 starting at 80 feet.

if your instructor was so low on air, i am surprised he/she did not signal everyone to go up together, then start to buddy breath or air share he/she needed. that would have been safer than abandoning a group of student tech divers. sounds like he/she panicked to me.

its lucky that one or all of the students didnt nark and die.

you prolly should find someone else to tech you deep air diving and/or deco.

I THOUGHT TDI ELIMINATED THEIR DEEP AIR DIVES FROM THEIR TECH PROGRAM???
