One of my co-workers mentioned this morning an incident a couple of years back (perhaps even more) that I had heard about but never saw the full details. It had to do with what was apparently an infamous incident in which a couple of UCLA students were kayaking somewhere in the greater L.A. area and were attacked rather nastily by a shark or sharks. I.e. as my co-worker remembers it, one was eaten and one was found dead with something like a limb missing.
I just tried various searches both here and on the net on kayak, shark and/or UCLA and am not coming up with anything. Not to be macabre, but I did want to get the straight information. Can anyone help with a pointer to whatever info may be out there? Thanks for any help.
