The instructor’s goal was to go to 160 or 165 with out a doubt. It is the profile we worked so many times in class. The only reason for stopping at 141 was the fact the anchor was at 120 and we could not keep swimming along the bottom anymore before exceeding the bottom time and passing out halfway point, not rule of thirds as I was taught.
We planned all the dives on tables (NAVY AIR) and nothing was said to anyone about placing the computers in gauge mode. I was not concerned with my computers, Nitek1 as primary and BridgeII as backup. Both entered and exited deco as expected.
