Just out of curiousity, Mike, what kind of actual teaching experience have you had with typical retail beginning scuba students? When you were an active DM, did you help out with classes much or did you mostly work boats? I'm not referring to the GUE stuff you seem to be involved in now (I don't think those students are particularly representative of beginning divers), but the just-walked-in-off-the-street not-very-water-oriented person who would like to learn how to dive for $500 or less.
