I agree that you can't teach experience.. That is true about every sport, every hobby and just about everything in life.. However, I see the value of expiring certifications should be included as a comprehensive overhaul of the watering down of instruction.. It's a step in the right direction, even if only a token step.. And look at the steadfast resistance to it when in reality it's such a tiny step.. The agencies are fat and lazy and unwilling to change.. GUE is forcing the other agancies to take a fresh look at my sense is that it won't be long before they bend a bit.. Sadly it won't be due to altruisitc reasons it will be because financial pressure and market share will be at stake, not core beliefs...
