Is ParkwayScuba T2 7mm Semi Dry a good suit

I am currently looking into buying a wetsuit to dive in northern CA and one of the attracting ones is the ParkwayScuba semidry suit.

Does anyone know if it is a good wetsuit or not.

Another concern is that it has an incorporated hood, and I am wondering if it possible to dive with the hood taken off (for example in the back of the neck ..)
