Even though the scientist in me hates saying "always," education is one situation where I have trouble finding an exception to the rule. Besides, just because you hear something at a demo, it doesn't mean that you have to accept it all. It's your life, you should get all the info that you can about protecting it. I would reconsider whether continued work with that NAUI instructor is worthwhile. He sounds closed-minded. That's a dangerous mind-set.
