I do agree that it is a good idea to go to the demo and can think

And in answer to Michael's question about black and white....
Michael, seriously, without critism, it is appropriate to call you a
fanatic, isn't it... As such, you seem to have a pattern of an
...enthusiasm... that allows absolutly no variation, deviation
or adaptation and so seems appropriatly called black and white.
How about your adamant contention that DIR is not adaptable or to be adapted.
How about steel vs Al... wetsuits (your view, not necessarily DIR)
.
In any case, I do think it good that divers know something about
DIR so that they can judge if they want to try to go completely DIR
or even which DIR ideas seem good and could be usefully added to
their own dive habits.
