I couldn't agree with you more. For you and Chris, the experience would be a waste in every respect for all concerned.
If Jablonski couldn't explain the applicability of DIR principles for recreational diving to you in four hours, no one can.
Aside from his public animus for Mike and John, Chris has made clear he thinks everyone associated with DIR is some kind of sycophantic fascist and that the demos are a naked shill for product sales. Why the latter would be a problem even if it were true, which it's not, he hasn't explained. But his attitude is not in dispute.
It should be a great weekend for diving. I hope you and Chris enjoy it.
