Wrong clueless one. A Stroke is one who knows what DIR is and rejects any part of the system. For my diving full DIR kit is unnecessary and unwanted by me. I also add things to my kit that pleases and comforts me which doesn't compromise but enhances my overall diving pleasure and safety. I can and do quite often change existing kit to suit the planned dive and will do experiments on different gear. This is what Team Stroke as defined by Dan is, I think.
