Even if it's beating a dead horse to death, isn't DIR a holistic approach to diving and by definition, all or nothing at all?
Also, I've forgotten (senior moment!) the exact reason computers are a DIR no-no. Is it because they're electronic and could fail? Well so can scooters and cannister lights. One mo' time, por favor:
