I finally took my camera with me to the wrecks of the Avalon and the crane off Haggerty's today. I almost had to use a knife to cut through the plankton layer at the surface. It was dirty, brown and was close to a red tide. Fortunately, the vis cleared below 30 feet. I managed to retrieve the steering wheel from the crane. New pics at my website.
