It should take 20 sec to ascend 10'. Shot a marker with knotted line. Knot it every 10'.
As far as the different gases, we generally standardize our gas selection. With that in mind we use a few other little facters.
EAN .32 EAD - 20% MOD 111
EAN .36 EAD - 29% MOD 95
EAN .40 EAD - 30% MOD 82
We generally write these simple facters down in our wet notes for use in modifications underwater.
Actually this type of stuff is hard to learn on the net. The net is a poor medium to transfer such subjects completely.
