There was a website for the ship set up for the sinking, but I'm not sure whether its still up or not. It does not come up for me on the old address.

There are diagrams of the ship available (Lois Ann sells them for one). This shows the markings on the ship for orientation.

I would recommend NOT penetrating the wreck unless you are qualified to do so. There's lots to see on the outside (upper works) and by looking in (as opposed to venturing into) the openings.

2 weeks ago I was on the wreck and registered about 49 degrees. I was in a drysuit. My two buddies were in 7mm. Both of them said that it was cold, but tolerable for the 20 minutes we were down there. Temp. on the surface was about 68 degrees.

You can check the Swell Model at:
http://cdip.ucsd.edu/models/socal_now.shtml

There are other Canadian Frigates of this class doing the same "duty" elsewhere and you might be able to find other photos or diagrams, but they will not be marked the same as Yukon.

Have fun and be safe.
