Don Lake has been working diligently behind the scenes to secure permission to have a BBQ at the event. For those that attended the Monterey or the Scuba Toys demos we were hoping to run a similiar type environment.. However, it seems that the powers that be would prefer that there be NO BBQ's at Casino Point.. Don spent several conversations and had several meetings to secure a one time only permit, but they were afraid of the precedent it would establish..
Accordingly, contrary to what was previously discussed, we will NOT be in a position to supply a BBQ at this time.. Should circumstances change we will notify everyone..
I also encourage making ferry and hotel reservations asap as I understand rooms are very difficult to get for the weekend and I believe that the later express boats are already sold out...
