No, I'll never be 100% DIR because I don't buddy dive and I use computers. I could be accused of scavenging the system because it is holistic, meaning all or nothing. I love my Halcyon BP/wing, I've reverted back to XL Jetfins, my console is now only an SPG and Suunto backup computer, and my main computer, NiTek3, is mounted on my right forearm. But the most important aspect of DIR that I've scavenged is their attitude toward safe diving: forearmed for any and all emergency situations before they happen.
