Call them and see what they think about your brilliance. The VAST MAJORITY of construction sites are ENCLOSED areas shows what you know. Only unfinished buildings are open frame like you would infer and they rarely have need for gas leak detection if you have competent people at the site working. 99.99% of gas leak detections are performed in kitchens and basements of LIVED in spaces not during framing, AND YES I DO gas piping in RESTAURANTS AND homes!
