Just got this from an instructor friend:
"...you might already know about this - but divers should be aware that the tidal variation is pretty huge on July 21. It sometimes causes a nasty tidal current at Casino Point, kinda like a toilet flushing. Happens fast and it's strong. Not forecasting that it'll happen, but depending on other weather conditions, it could happen around noon."
Could put DIR to an acid test! Newbies use caution!
