chances are, any naval vessel is going to be so large that 100 fsw would be an absolute minimum depth to prevent the wreck from being a hazard to navigation. I would guess that the top of such a vessel would be in the 40-60 fsw range.

Even if the boat was set in 100-120 fsw, on say, sandy bottom, one would not need to go down and touch the sand on every dive. In all the times i've been at Shiprock, the Yukon, The Valiant, Farns, i've never gone and touched the absolute bottom. There is plenty to see and do above even 90 fsw. Of course, i can control my buoyancy, so not touching the bottom if i don't want to is not an issue.

At any rate, think of all the bugs that will find a happy home there.
