how 'bout we torpedo some of those godawful giant cruise ships that are based in L.A. Harbor over in front of Catalina. We could set about four of the things down, all strung out on sandy bottom from Avalon to Two Harbors. There'd be good viz, great habitat enhancement, and those darn ships are like 20 stories high, so those who want to go deep can, and those who want a top in say, 60fsw can have that too. Imagine one of those suckers with kelp growing thick on the top, yellowtail and 'cuda, Calif. gray whales and Great Whitey cruising the 200 foot drop-off and all those passageways underneath? WOW!
oh yeah, and leave the brass, light fixtures, china etc. on the boat, so certain wild, incorrigible dive-pirates can appreciate that too ; )
