the 14 minute wreck had some great macro-life to photograph and tons of interesting goodies laying all over the place. definitely worth a repeat visit or three. The Avalon had some decent vis for the area and some nice big calico bass (4lb dude swam up to look at my speargun and i didn't have the heart to shoot him (how can you shoot a stupid calico that comes up and looks you in the face three times?) and a legal but skittish lingcod, and a short, but nonchalant one also. There's some nice macro life at the Avalon too, all in all, a pretty good dive site when the sun's out and the vis is good. The Calif Wreck Divers are a good fun hardcore group. I gotta get off my butt and join one of these days.
