I only know from what Terry told me, that it normally sits somewhere around 150 ffw, which varies anywhere from like 175 - 125 ffw based on lake level. Apparently it's been really shallow a couple of times, and is pretty beaten up.

More than the bombers, I'm interested in poking my head around a bunch of the runabouts that have gone down. The plane seems a bit out of my reach.

If you're going to be diving shaver, there's a ton of amythest on the north shore, where the little river comes in. I've thought about diving for it several times, but just never had the real gusto to put the trip together.

I'm working on trying to convince a friend to take his runabout up to Huntington. I was going to do a bit of freediving, and see if I could spot anything worthwhile without the logistics of full kit. Since my new place is relatively close, I'll email you if I pull this off.
