the floaters, after they attach to something, do crawl around, mostly to find a hide-away, and then later to find improved amounts of kelp debris.

at some point, Jeff, they become fairly permanent on their rock fixture.

Im just quoting Rocky here. ive never "seen them" moving. what about you?
