Come on seahunt, there's no special California diving "system". Take a trip on any local open boat and you'll find cats from every county, gear-wise, training-wise, experience-wise, motivation-wise, etc.
Your particular, so-called system is to systematically deplete as much of our diminishing game as your fish stringer and goody bag will hold.
